MACON O'BRYAN
Macon, owner of North Mississippi Hand Therapy, attended the University of Mississippi, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1996. After college, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical College of Virginia, where she earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree (MSOT) in 1999. In 2000 she completed the Hand Therapy Fellowship at Texas Women’s University in Houston, TX, where she trained with Certified Hand Therapists, fellowship-trained hand surgeons, and hand surgery fellows. Macon worked in outpatient clinics on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and in north Mississippi, and she became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2005. After working at Southern Hand Centers in Memphis, TN and in their other regional clinics, she established North Mississippi Hand Therapy in 2015 with locations in both Oxford and Batesville. Macon grew up in Gulfport, MS and she and her husband live in Oxford.
JOLI
NICHOLS
Joli attended the University of Mississippi, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2003. After college, she attended Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO, where she earned her Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree in 2006. Following graduation, Joli gained valuable experience working as an occupational therapist in the on-site therapy clinic at Ford Motor Company in Kansas City. While working at outpatient hand therapy clinics in Chicago, IL, she had the unique opportunity to work with members of the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago Bulls. After returning to Mississippi in 2011, Joli worked in the Oxford and Batesville locations of Southern Hand Centers. She joined the North Mississippi Hand Therapy staff in 2015. Joli is a native of Saltillo, MS and she and her family currently live in Oxford.
